Decide which products you require, then either fax

e-mail or phone your order over to us, these details can

be found on the contacts page, we will then confirm your order

the delivery address and preferred method of payment.

Goods are only delivered on cleared funds.

A VAT invoice will be sent with your products.

 

 

 

 

Delivery

A £10.00 delivery charge will be added to all orders.

All orders placed before 1pm we will endeavour to despatch goods the same day.however please allow up to two working days for your goods to arrive.

No deliveries are made on Saturdays or Sundays/Bank Holidays

1. All prices are subject to VAT at the current rate.

2. The Company makes no additional charge for payment by credit card.

3.Subject to the rights of Consumers set out below, the Company shall have no liability to the Customer in respect of damaged or defective Goods (and the Customer shall be required to pay the full Contract price) where:-
(a) defects are caused by installation
(b) damage has been sustained after delivery of the Goods to the Customer, or its agents
(c) any claim made by the Customer is not in accordance with these terms and conditions

4.Title to the Goods passes on the Goods leaving the Company’s premises once payment is cleared and:
(a) if the Goods are delivered by a delivery company or by our own company and when the Goods are unloaded at the address specified by the Customer;

5.Subject to the right of Consumers under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, the Company does not accept liability for the suitability or specification of the Goods. It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to choose Goods from the Company’s range which are suitable and have the correct specification for the Customer’s purposes. THE COMPANY DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS WHICH THE CUSTOMER AFTER RECEIPT DECIDES ARE UNSUITABLE FOR HIS PURPOSES.

6.The Company shall not be liable for any variations in any specification or description of the Goods which do not materially affect the specification, use and operation of the Goods. The Company shall be entitled to substitute any Goods ordered with goods of similar quality (i.e. EN Approved & Kite Marked) and capacity. The Company reserves the right to make any changes in the specification so as to conform with any applicable safety or other statutory requirements.

7.THE ASSESSMENT OF RISK AND THE POSITIONING OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER

8.All Goods are visually inspected by the Company and despatched free of external damage. It is the Customer’s responsibility to check the Goods immediately on receipt for (1) external damage and (2) for accuracy of pressure.

9. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery and the Customer is strongly advised to return the Goods by recorded delivery, registered post or courier and to insure the Goods for their full value. The Company does not accept liability for damage in transit. It is the Customer’s responsibility to package the Goods adequately.

10.Failure to notify the Company of the non-delivery of the Goods, or any of them within 14 days of the due date for delivery will release the Company from liability for claims for non-delivery.

11.We shall be entitled to terminate the order immediately without notice if You shall enter into liquidation, receivership, administrative receivership or You make any arrangement or composition with creditors, or if You are an individual, any petition or receiving order in bankruptcy shall be presented or made against You.

13. The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
13.1 Contracts for the purchase of Goods by a Customer not acting in the course of a business and made through the Company’s Website are, with the exception of certain excepted contracts, subject to The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (the Regulations).

GOVERNING LAW
These terms and conditions shall be governed, construed and shall take effect in accordance with the laws of England, and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the statutory rights of a consumer.

Disclaimers

Alert Fire Ltd (Budget Extinguishers) shall not be liable for any injury or death even if accidental from the use of portable fire extinguishers, installation of extinguishers should be carried out by a suitable person with the necessary training and qualifications.
Alert Fire Ltd (Budget Extinguishers) shall not be liable for direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of the Products sold from or referred to in this web site, or from the use or inability to use any of the information contained or accessed from this web site. Alert Fire Ltd (Budget Extinguishers) reserves the right to change, modify, remove or substitute without notice any information shown on the web site from time to time. Prices and availability are subject to change.
